Seweryn Krajewski is described as an icon of polish popular music. Composer, singer, multi-instrumentalist. He has created many hits as singer in bad Czerwone Gitary (Red Guitars)  but also as an solo artis. Most popular in 70's and 80's but in last year we can observe come back of his popularity. Martyna Jakubowicz is a singer, guitar player and composer.  Her style is a mixture of blues, rock and american folk. In 2008 she had an anniversary of 30 years presence on polish music scene. JANUSZ RADEK- singer and composer, one of the most talended male singers in Poland, dealing mainly with sung poetry but also cabaret, musicals and  recitals. Kiedy U.... Kiedy U... Kochanie have atmosphere of "bright sadness", similar to other H. Poświatowska poems saying about love and death. All her poetry was marked by unusuall life circumstances which she had to deal with, from young ages knowing that she has termal disease- serious cardiac insufficiency, becoming a widow in age og 21 (husband also died cose of heart problems), all her life was marked with necessary implication of death. KRYSTYNA JANDA- mainly actress but also talented singer, she is one of favourite Andrzej Wajda's actress.  As a singer she prefered to work with Agnieszka Osiecka (great polish writer and poet) and Marek Grechuta- like in song "Ja jestem twoją M.M", written by Grechuta and J. Janczarski in middle 70's. Song consist of dramatic monologue and chorus singing part, telling a story about lonely but not alone woman who longing for true, unconditional love.

KAYAH (real name Katarzyna Rooijens ) is polish pop/ soul singer. Real fame came to her in 1995 with album Kamień. From that time Kayah few very succesfull long plays, some duets project (with Goran Bregović and Cesaria Evora), she is also very succesfull music producer. 

Her greatest commercial success was album realised with balkan musician Goran Bregović - Kayah and Bregović -1999. Song Nie ma Ciebie - lyrics Kayah, music- popular folk balkan song known as Ederlezi. Text refer to christmas, winter time- contains words from popular christmas caroll Bóg się rodzi and its composed in folk climate.

VARIUS MANX- was created in 1990 by Robert Janson and Paweł and Michał Marciniak. From that time it had three lead singers: Anita Lipnicka (singing Tokio), Katarzyna Stankiewicz and Monika Kuszyńska. First two of them after leaving band made solo career. After serious car accident in 2006 after which last vocalist  remains paralysed band stoped music activity.

Tokio is one of the biggest VM hit comming from first album recorded with A. Lipnicka (Emu -1994). Music Robert Janson, lyrics- Anita Lipnicka. Titled Tokio- is a place totally different than post comunist, still dark and taking first breatch of "modernity" Poland of early 90's. Interpretation can be much more than this as video is showing.
